Every woman would love to have an unlimited budget for their wedding. There are things that every woman has dreamed about since they were little but the reality of cost is sinking in. There is not need to worry that your wedding day will not be everything that you always dreamed it would be. There are several ways that you can get great food and flowers while staying in your budget.

One of the best ways to save money is to find the best deal. We shop around for shoes and handbags, so why not do the same thing for a caterer? Local caters who are just starting to build their business are more likely to offer cheaper food fare. Check with local culinary schools to see if their top students would be willing to cook for your wedding for a small fee. Check prices with several flowerist in your area before settling on one to save you money.

Another way to save money is to try to use local and in season flowers and food. You probably do this every time you go to the super market so why would you not do it for your wedding. If you are getting married in the fall your caterer will have access to many fresh fruits and vegetables for a discount price because the produce is so abundant. Have the caterer design your menu around what is in season. The same can go for your floweriest. If you are getting married in the winter, chances are flowers will be expensive. Have your flowerist pad your arrangements with feathers or decorative items to save money.
